Treyson Bourguet, middle school quarterback in Arizona, competes on the 7-on-7 circuit for the Tucson Turf in the spring and summer. Bourguet broke both of his feet, forcing him to compete in the Pylon Elite 7v7 Nationals tournament wearing two boots. Fortunately for Bourguet's team, he wasn't going to let his injuries get in the way of winning the tournament.
“He’s about as competitive a kid as you’re ever going to find,” said Toby Bourguet, father of Treyson and Tuscon Turf coach. “He’s 13-years-old and he plays everything, from basketball to soccer to baseball. Obviously football. Wrestling. In a classroom he’s a straight A student."
Bourguet was given the green light to compete just one week ago. It looks like he is taking full advantage of his time back on the field.
