Shareef O'Neal to Play for Arizona Wildcats
April 19, 2017

It looks like the apple doesn't fall too far from the tree. Shareef O'Neal, son of infamous basketball star Shaquille O'Neal, has committed to the University of Arizona this past Wednesday morning. Ranked number 19 in his class by ESPN 60, this 6' 8" powerhouse is sure to bring some talent to the Wildcats in the fall of 2018. O'Neal chose Arizona over other top schools such as Baylor, LSU, and UCLA.

When asked to comment on his son's success, Shaq said he ultimately left it up to Shareef to decide his future.

"My father never said you should do this, you should do that. So I'm gonna let him make his decision. LSU, Kentucky, Arizona. He's getting a lot of letters. A couple of weeks ago, he got his book with all his letters, I got my book with all my letters. It's a great feeling. But I'm gonna let him make the final decision."

To see Shareef in action, here's some videos that show just how good he is:
