The New York Mets continue to sell players to other teams. They traded second baseman Neil Walker to the Milwaukee Brewers for a player to be named later. The Mets will also pay some of the $5 million remaining on his contract, according to Fox Sports Ken Rosenthal.
Walker has been injured for part of the season. His batting average is .246 with 10 homeruns and 36 RBI's so far this season. Walker also has a solid glove. The Brewers are in a tight race in the NL Central.
He is a free agent at the end of the season.
