Dominic Smith to Play for Mets on Friday

The New York Mets have decided to call up number two prospect Dominic Smith (first basemen) from Triple-A Las Vegas. He will be starting at first base on Friday Night on the road against the Philadelphia Phillies.

Smith was the PCL player of the month in July. His batting average was .330 with 16 homeruns and 76 RBI's and one stolen base. Smith is also a solid defensive player. He will be reunited once again with Amed Rosario.

The Mets are now really gearing towards the 2018 season.
